From Past to Present Selina Fish!

Selina has the first fish farm in the Lycia region, located at the foot of the Taurus Mountains. The area is untouched by industrialization and is a meeting point of nature and natural production. The farm is located in the most popular location in the region, in the heart of nature, at the very beginning of the water source, with productivity and clarity, which allows for the highest quality trout breeding.

Selina’s unique experience, which dates back to 1974 with its current partnership structure, has positioned it as the region’s leading player in modern trout production. In 1997, the second farm was established, and both farms continue to exist and produce to this day. In 2011, our fish processing facility was established with a mission to process trout that has been grown in the water source that trickles down from the peaks of the Taurus Mountains, using traditional and natural methods.

The 90,000-year-old smoking method, the world’s oldest cooking and preservation technique, is performed entirely naturally in traditional ovens. The aroma that arises from the smoking method varies depending on the type of wood used. One of Selina’s biggest secrets is having a unique aroma with its own signature.

In 2015, the change of generation and new partnership structure gave birth to the Selina brand. Our brand, which we associate with nature, meets consumers in Turkey, America, Germany, Poland, and many other European countries, with a sustainable production perspective.
